Hi and Congratulations to you both and saying yes to your dress and did you try on any veils when you were trying on dresses and then you chose this dress. Its gorgeous dress and the details are beautiful try on a veil with this lace details long or short. With the long veil have it to hit just a tad inch off or then try the short one and see how you like it

A cathedral length veil would look so pretty!! One with the plain edge, so it wouldn’t take away from the train, it would blend right in. Congratulations on finding your dress!

Maybe try a finger tip length one. That way, the back detail stands out better. It also depends on your hairstyle and the overall look you want. You still have much time left to decide.

Yes that is true so now if you decided to wear a veil you have a picture of your dress and then maybe a shorter veil may just do the trick to bring all together or consider a hair piece something like this or just look for 1 that you may like I hope that this will help you on your decision Wedding veil?? 3

I’d definitely go for a fingertip length with a lace edge. Lace in a similar type/style. A cathedral length would cover the detailing

I found this beautiful simple tulle veil off Etsy!! Mine will be fingertip length and it was only 44 dollars .. I went this route because my Dress already has a ton of lace and stuff so I wanted a simple veil … I was also so happy because they offered a blush color which is the undertone of my dress 🤗 Definitely check it out !! I think a fingertip length would look beautiful with your dress.

Agree with this. You will have to match the lace to the dress.

I had a dress with a long train and didn't have a veil. It's really up to you, whether you like the look of veils or not.
If it's something you'll regret not having then go for it!

Your dress is gorgeous in itself though, and definitely doesn't need a veil.

Did your mom have any specific reasons against it? i just wonder if she is giving on some principle or a matter of taste.

Thank you!! im definitely going between a fingertip one or a floor length one because we tried a floor length one on at the bridal shop and it blended in pretty well

Sure. It seems the veil would work with a half up style. Maybe better if it is just one tier. Can you do an accessorize appointment to try on some veils?

I think your best bet is to either go with a fingertip length or a cathedral length veil. If you do fingertip you can have lace on it (make sure to match it to the dress), but if you do cathedral I would make sure that it is extra sheer as to allow that beautiful detail to show through. If you don’t want a plain veil you can always do one that has a little sparkle sewn into it or pearls.
