Hey y'all! I'm trying to plan our wedding for under 10k. I'm looking for a venue in the DFW area that includes tables, chairs, and linens in the rental fee. I also want a place that allows us to bring our own alcohol. I know most that have a BYO alcohol policy require security and a TACB certified...

Hey y'all! I'm trying to plan our wedding for under 10k. I'm looking for a venue in the DFW area that includes tables, chairs, and linens in the rental fee. I also want a place that allows us to bring our own alcohol. I know most that have a BYO alcohol policy require security and a TACB certified bartender and that's totally fine. Any suggestions?

(We are looking to get married on one of the last two weekends in June 2016....and input would be greatly appreciated!)

Hi there! I'm not sure how many people you are looking to have, but here are some of my venue notes from around the area. Some of the info may not be 100% accurate, but hopefully it will help! (let me know if you'd like me to just e-mail you the file instead)

Check out Veteran's Halls and Elk's Lodges. Also stay away from "wedding" stuff. As soon as the word "wedding" comes out of your mouth is seems like the prices go up. Some stuff like flowers and venue is hard to do this for but other things, like invitations, and décor is easier.

    Melissa,

I enjoyed the Rose Chapel! I would advise you to add that venue to your list of venues to look at. I am not sure if I'm allowed to advertise what they told me @ the open house, but I'd be more than happy to email you a bit of what they told me if you would like! Us girls gotta stick together and make the wedding of our dreams while keeping it affordable! I am going to look @ a few more but they are looking like my top pick!

    Sarah,

For some reason you image will not let me view it, is there any way you could email it to me? **I am still new, so is there like a private message area I can send you my email too?**

Mine is only about $1200 probably? once all in. It's hard to keep track of those tiny charges. Rings and food were the biggest expense, but venue probably would have come next if we didn't get this one (only $50 half day). I know most people will be going bigger than that, and $10,000 sounds huge to me, but definitely pay attention to guest list, what kind of food you want, and what kind of venue you want and need (and separate those wants and needs out).
