Wedding Themes

My FH and I are doing a very non traditional theme, B-list horror movies and Stephen King! Those are two things that are super close to us! Our tables are going to be labeled by Stephen King books and b-listed horror posters as decorations. I know we are crazy but we are not typical bride and groom! So let’s hear from you brides, what are your themes? Are you doing traditional love and romance or something odd like me? I would love to see what everyone is doing!

We're playing off of the winter/holiday season with lots of greens and reds. but we are throwing a few nerdy touches in there too. On our altar we're including his Green Lantern lantern and my Harry Potter Goblet of Fire.

Love it! Ours will be by Halloween so that’s how horror and Stephen king will be combined

That sounds super interesting and unique. Love to see how your decor and stuff turn out. I didn't really have a theme but I saw a travel theme one that was cool

I wanted an October wedding but we couldn't, so we settled on December which FH loves.

Stephen King & B-list horror sounds like fun! Where's your wedding? A haunted house would be awesome.

We did a destination wedding in Napa with a pirate reception in a wine cave. Totally us! And then we had a swanky 60's "Rat Pack" themed local reception and asked guests to dress era appropriate. We had a big band, Sinatra & Martin impersonators too. I love personal touches or fun themes for a wedding! Very unique and personal.

That sounds like so much fun! Our venue is at a brewery, never very themed like but the river that it overlooks is so pretty! So far our centerpiece will be Stephen king books and the. A framed movie poster on top of it

Ooh! A brewery is a cool vibe! Could be creepy.

Very fun centerpieces. 👍 Can’t wait to see more of your decor come together.

We've decided on 1930s Hollywood glam for our theme. My dream dress and his favorite suit style are both from the 1930s era. (Think Jean Harlow and classic gangster). We are still in the early stages of planning but our color scheme is red, black, white, and silver. Instead of numbers, each table will be named after an actor, actress, or gangster. Thinking about doing candle style centerpieces.

    Awesome!

My daughter is doing video game covers as the table numbers.
