Hi everyone,
What are some of your themes and are you having a difficult time trying to pull it off in your budget? My theme is Industial Chic and it’s starting to become a headache lol

Aww, I really hope your vision comes to life. That sounds like a great theme. I tried going for a Game of Thrones Garden vibe, which apparently only makes sense in my mind. Anyway, I'm two weeks away from my wedding and the theme is looking more like medieval/country chic, bahahaha! Oh well.

I am having a travel theme. Hasn’t been difficult but I have been spending a lot of time on how I can do it subtly and elegantly. Also many people have done a travel themed so I don’t want to do so many things that have been done over and over and over again lol

What’s giving you the most trouble?

We’re having a neon wedding, and so far that just looks like a lot of spray paint!
We have family that has a lot of neon colors for their weddings and they keep everything, so we get to go through all of that!

Of course! We’re making sure there’s a lot of white so it doesn’t end up looking like a middle school dance lol!
    I'm pretty excited!

Our "theme" is more minimalistic boho style. My dress and ceremony venue match the theme perfectly, and for our reception I plan to add lost of faux greenery made up of lambs ear and eucalyptus (decor that can be reused in our home). We are on a tight budget and paying for everything in cash our selves so I'm hoping to thrift a lot of things and do some diy.

I guess ours could be considered industrial? We're having it in a hotel ballroom though so I don't know how to really classify it.
I really like the wood/metal combinations

I would love to see pictures and see how the two styles blend. It’s definitely unique and sounds like it could turn out amazing.

A travel theme is really nice I’ve seen it done before and it came out great. Each table was a different country and instead of a seating chart the guest were giving passports with their country and seating number super cute. I’m having trouble because I have this crazy big warehouse space and I want to do so much with it but I’m on a tight budget. So I guess it’s trying to figure out what’s really important

This looks so cool I frickin love it. Will you have glow in the dark sticks at your reception for the dance floor?

That’s one of the themes I was leaning towards. We’re super laid back and simple and didn’t want a lot of fuss. The faux greenery is a great idea. I was looking into garland runners for our centerpieces and those suckers are expensive if you use real greenery. Are you getting married outside?

My wedding theme is “A Royal Wedding”. I’m having my wedding at a castle and having a 6ft castle wedding cake. Throne chairs along with African drums and lots of entertainment.

They are! I thought about Garland runners as well but for the price and knowing I have no where in my home to display them after, I decided against them. I'm hoping to thrift some decor though, add in a vintage touch. And we are! I tried adding a picture of our venue but the new ww update is being picky about what I can and can't do atm 😭

I had a florist tell me $700 per table for the garland runners all I could do was laugh. I’m switching to vines and candles and it’s still going to be a good look but wayyyyy less expensive. Thrifting is a great idea you’ll be able to find some cool vintage items. Etsy is good place to look for faux greenery at a decent price if you can’t find what you’re looking for.

That sounds amazing it reminds me of Coming to America. Is that the vibe you’re going for?
