Wedding themes

I'm doing an origami theme. Some of the decorations will be homemade and others will be ordered from Etsy.

We’re doing Cinderella fairytale with hidden Mickeys
Our centerpieces are Cinderella carriages with floral inside and the table numbers are a Mickey head with the number above it

Nice we are gonna try to do a Greek mythology theme but it might just be gold and white

We are basing our wedding off of one of our favorite video games, so a lot of 8-bit and game-themed items will be apparent in our decorations and invitations. Using spring colors for wedding party (mint, light orange, blue) but a lot of elegant/classic colors for other things (gold, black, cream, silver, dark blue).

I'm designing elements based on the characters and style within the game:

Name cards will look roughly like this (this was a paper "prototype"):

And I'm handing making our invitations as "fancy" Super Nintendo Cartridges in fancy paper slips I'm making based on a sealed chest in the game:

We have somewhat of an Old Classic Hollywood style going with this color scheme (and solid black linens and napkins). We'll have black candelabras with feathers and black goblets. We will also have a red carpet entrance with black acrylic wedding sign.

We don't really have a "theme", but our decor and maybe even my dress will be geometric or have geometric designs. I even want a hexagon shaped cake.

I love that everyone is having a unique event!!
We're going Punk Romance. FH & I are polar opposites, he's an 80's punk, I'm a hopeless romantic. He'll be in charcoal gray w/burgundy shirt and of course, custom made Converse, my dress is black. Decor will be the same with pops of gold.My Dress!! 😍
