Wedding the same date as my parents Anniversary

I don't think it's that a big deal. My husband's parents and grandparents actually have the same anniversary day.

I also don’t see the issue. I think it’s kind of sweet to share an anniversary with your parents.

Have you talked to them? I’d be honored if I was in their position!

I just attended a wedding on a Monday because the groom wanted his anniversary to be the same as his parents.

I think most parents would be honored! You should let me know and I’m sure it won’t be a big deal.

View Quoted Comment I personally think it’s a beautiful thing afterwards reading on it but my family has been making me feel weird about it. My Fiancé who picked the date thought it would make them happy with him making me his wife for their anniversary as well afterwards noticing the date

My friend got married on her parent's anniversary and one set of her grandparent's anniversary. She has an adorable picture with each couple's wedding photos on a tree. I think it's sweet.
