What are the wedding superstitions you are participating in or have heard of?

Maybe I should do that! 😂 Where I’m getting married, it rains A TON in late May 😓
Kinda stuck though. Didn’t want to wait more than a year to get married, and couldn’t get in to my church at an earlier date 😬

My fiancé and I decided to skip ALL traditions based on superstitions: we will be together the night before and will spend some time together beforr the ceremony on the day of (we're having a 1st look) , we're NOT burying a bottle of bourbon or anything else, I'm not doing a sixpence in my shoes, I'm not wearing a veil, we decided that our guests won't toss anything (rice, seeds, grains, etc...) and we are NOT offering alernatives : confettis, petals, bubbles etc... and also, others I don't have in mind as I'm writing 😀.
We're skipping them because neither of us is superstitious. Most of them are only done for fun and are no longer about good/bad luck , I know... but we're still skipping them.

We're spending the night before in separate places, but it's more because I'll probably have a tough time sleeping, so being able to have control over the temperature, not having FH snoring all night, etc. might help somewhat.
