Wedding Songs!

Kaitlyn, on December 7, 2020 at 9:20 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 3

Hey y 'all!

I need some help choosing a song to dance to. I'm not doing the typical daddy daughter dance because I do not have a relationship with my father. My uncle is the one walking me down the Aisle. In replacement of that dance I want to dance with the 5 most important men in my life who helped raise me. Id like one song to play as I get to dance with each special person for just a few and then they pass me on to the next until the end of the song the last person hands me off to my FH. I'm struggling because I want this to be special and I don't have that relationship with my father so its even harder. Any song suggestions would be super helpful, Or any other ideas to honor those men would be amazing!!

Thanks!

My Wish by Rascal Flatts is the very first song that popped into my head.

I second My Wish. Another could be Life's a Dance, John Michael Montgomery or "My Girl" Temptations could be a cute option...

Hi Kaitlyn! All of the songs in the I'll Be There / Stand By Me / Lean on Me genre would work really well!

Here are a few more sweet & sentimental ideas 🎵:

"You've Got a Friend In Me" - Randy Newman

"Count On Me" - Bruno Mars

"How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You" - James Taylor

"Because You Loved Me" - Celine Dion

"Wind Beneath My Wings" - Bette Midler
