I found a song that i would love to dance to with my father at my wedding, but it’s a cover of a song and the specific version of it I have only been able to find on YouTube, not Apple Music or anything. Is there a way the DJ will be able to play this? Can they just pull it up on YouTube like I did on my phone and play it at the wedding? How does that work?

If you give the DJ enough warning, they should be able to purchase it from their database (if the DJ doesn't already have it). There are professional databases with every song imaginable they they can pay to access. I would start there and see what your DJ says.

There was an instrumental version of a song on YouTube that we really liked. Our DJ couldn’t use it since YouTube quality isn’t great and it wasn’t available on Apple Music, or anywhere else.

I actually asked around and a friend gave me a link that can turn any song from YouTube into an mp3 on my phone! 😊

I agree our DJ gave us 5 spots for songs they would have to purchase/not on their list.

The DJ should be able to purchase it prior as long as you let them know in advance
