So I love the song Angela by Lumineers for a wedding song, problem is my name is Angela and I feel that it would be a bit corny/egocentric to have this as our first dance? Thought?

Or any suggestions on first wedding songs that have to do with home, making a home, finding home? I traveled/moved a lot in my 20s and could never sit still and I finally feel like I have a home now with him, so songs about love and home are very meaningful to me.

I don't know the song, but I don't think it would be egocentric. I went to a wedding where the bride, Mandi, and her dad danced to the song Mandy.

Angela is my favorite song and we're thinking of using it as a first dance song. My name isn't Angela though. Many of the Lumineers songs have a similar feel- I go back and forth between wanting to use this one or Sleep on the Floor.

I’m thinkIng of that song too for the same reasons! I’d go for it! If not have you heard “home” by Edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros? It’s a bit faster pace but that’s my second choice for the same sentiment.
