Hello! Long time lurker, first time poster. We will be having an outdoor ceremony and reception. How do you keep the signs from blowing over in the wind.

We had an outdoor ceremony and it was very windy! We really didn’t have any issues with the signs. All my signs were acrylic tho so it would fly but the welcome one was like the one in your picture. The stand had hooks under it and on top that kept in place. I rented this so I don’t know the material of it. We did have issues with candles and the wind but that was expected.

My college friend had this issue with her wedding and being an engineer's daughter, I taped quarters to the back of the sign on each corner and then a small piece of twine to secure them to the easel. It was windy enough to blow the signs away if we didn't do anything but it wasn't windy enough to blow over the easel itself.

Thanks for the reply. I’m going to go to Michaels and see what sturdy stands they have.

I think I’ll have to. I’ve heard it gets windy where we’re getting married.
