Wedding Sign Help

Kelly, on August 20, 2019 at 7:38 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

I want to get one of those digital print up that has the wedding party, and have it printed on a poster at staples or Walgreens.

When I'm on the Walgreens website it give me an option to purchase either poster or poster board. The description of posters say that it's ideal for weddings, but I'm concern that it will be too thin for an easel. Has anyone printed the design on a poster? Is poster sufficient?

Thank you!

I haven't printed anything like that with Walgreens, but I'd go with poster board!

I think that's what I'm going to go with. I am thinking that I could probably order the digital template from Etsy & then ask the seller what they recommend.

If you’re wanting something that stands up on an easel, you’ll likely want it printed on foam board. Staples can print on foam board.

Definitely go with a foam board if possible. I had a poster printed at Walgreens for my classroom and it is nice, but probably not going to hold up unlaminated.

Thank you! That was what I was thinking - I was thrown off bc the description said great for weddings. I’m thinking that maybe they mean in a frame, but it was unclear. Thanks again!
