I’m having an outdoor october fall wedding in New York. The ceremony will be outside and the reception inside a pavillion. I plan on changing into flats for that but can’t decide what to wear for the ceremony.

    No one will notice your shoes unless your dress is short. Make sure your dress is hemmed for the flats.

    Not sure how much of the flooring is paved vs natural ground, but unless everywhere you'll be walking is paved, I'd recommend a wider heel or just sticking with flats so you don't have to deal with your heels sinking into the ground.
