Wedding Shoes

Is anyone else having a hard to finding the right shoes to wear? I know what I want both myself and my bridesmaids to wear, I just can't find them.

I have an old pair of shoes that are my fancy dress shoes that is exactly what I want but they are black. So for myself I'm trying to find an ivory pair that look similar. For my bridesmaids I've decided to go with black but needing 3 pairs so I can't lend anyone my old ones (would prefer them all to match). I've tried searching the brand 'After Hours' but no luck. My shoes have a 6cm heel and are 2-3cm wide. Wedding Shoes 1

I've found a couple of shoes that I like but I'm still not sold. Especially since one of my bridesmaids as a bad foot and needs a sturdy pair of shoes (she broke her foot a couple of years ago and can no longer wear standard style heels).
These ones have 6cm heels but the heel is narrower. Wedding Shoes 3

Should I go with one of these ones (if so which one) or keep looking? Where else would you suggest I could find a similar style shoe? My dad got me my original pair 15+ years ago from a shopping centre in Australia, I had trouble back then as well trying to find the right shoe 😂 my dad and brother went on a quick shopping trip without me and came back with the exact pair I was looking for.

Are all of your bridesmaids okay with wearing the shoes you pick out? Are their dresses floor length or shorter? The shoes don't all have to match if they won't be seen. The shoes look like a pair that could be seen at Macy's or jcpenny, have you looked there?

The dresses will be ankle length which means shoes will be seen. I've asked them if they had any preferences and they've all said they are happy with whatever I choose. Yes I have, did find something that could have worked but they didn't have the sizes I needed.

Even with ankle length dresses, having the same colored shoes is enough for things to look cohesive. My bridesmaids wore knee length dresses and I for the life of me could not tell you what their shoes looked like. That is not a detail you will notice. Make your life easier and just ask them to wear dressy black shoes of their own choosing. This also ensures everyone is comfortable in their footwear.

If you remember what the shoe model (I think that's the right term lol) is called, maybe search for that online and see where you can buy them online. They are more likely to have the right sizes in stock

Strappy heels are pretty common. You might not find your exact same pair, but you should be able to find something similar. I would check DSW, David’s, Amazon, some of the department stores, and where possible, use the filter to narrow down the heel height and shape.

I second the vote for DSW. Affordable and usually have a lot of styles, colors, and sizes

    Another vote for DSW.

JJ’s house is one of those scam websites where you either don’t get what you pay for, the shipping takes forever (it’s coming from China), or it gets lost in shipping.
