Wedding Shoes?

Grace, on June 2, 2019 at 11:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 11
My wedding colors are black, white, and gold. I think I want to do gold shoes, but my fiancé isn’t too much taller than I am. What are some good comfy maybe flat options? My wedding is in November, but is an inside wedding! Any ideas y’all have would be appreciated!

David's Bridal has a good selection on flats... And not so expensive. You could check around online anywhere for flats and if you have a long dress that covers your shoes is easy peasy.

As the PP suggested, David's Bridal is a good place to look. DSW also has tons of options.

Toms! I tried some on today and they are really comfy. They also do the pretty sparkle colors.

I'm a DSW fan myself. The have all kinds of brands and I believe they even sell Tom's. My FH is only 3-4 inches taller so I'm wearing the Kate Spade platform glitter Keds with the satin ribbon in rose gold. I like that they're good enough quality that I'll be able to wear them again.

Are you only selecting flats because of his height? Do you typically wear flats when going somewhere nice together? Only asking because my FH is only an inch taller. But I’m still wearing heels as always.

Typically I would wedges or sandals just depending. I would be okay with wedges, but I figured for the wedding day flats would just be easier to walk in!

Gotcha! I see a lot of posts of flats. But I’ll change into flip-flops after our first dance. But for my ceremony, I don’t want to “look” like I have on flats. I say that because in flats my stance and gait are different and more casual than in heels. So that’s my only reason for not wearing flats

I had the same issue with my FH he's only about 3 to 4 inches taller than I am. I ordered a pair of kitten heels and he's still taller than me. We compared our heights by both of us wearing our dress shoes since his has that small heel and he's still taller. Kitten heels would be the way to go if you want a heel but if you don't most bridal shops have beautiful flat options.
