I just bought wedges at the local shoe store. I still wear them from time to time and they always bring me back to the wedding

Whatever you decide though - think about having the dress hemmed to the shorter shoes (so you're not tripping on it all night.

I also had keds, the white glitter ones. They were super comfy to wear all night

I switched into a pair of Rothy's after all the reception formalities (first dance, father/ daughter dance, etc.). I didn't get my dress hemmed to the shorter length, but I was fine to dance all night without any issues.

Flats are very in right now, and they're pretty timeless at other times, too

I'm going to wear blue Rothys as my "something blue."
