Wedding shoes in snow

gratia01, on January 15, 2020 at 8:38 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 6
Ok guys...getting married in the winter time and I’m not sure what to do about shoes! I don’t want to wear heels because they hurt my feet/knees. I was thinking flats but I’m worried that my feet will be freezing during pictures! What have you other winter brides done/planned on doing? I’m not sure if boots will be too casual for my dress! I’m attaching photos too.

What about moccasins that are fuzzy on the inside?

I would personally suck it up and freeze for the photos lol. I guess it depends on how likely you think it will be that there will be snow. You could also buy the boots once you have your dress altered and see if you can even see them. You may be able to work with both.

I'm not exactly sure if your getting married Outdoors but if not then just wear the ballet flats. I would always say buy those shoes if you definitely feel your address can cover them and be hidden for the pictures.

I am also a winter bride getting married outdoors in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. I'm wearing my snow boots which aren't even white. I've made sure you can't see them under my dress and I'll only be in them for a short time. I'll switch into flats for the reception though.

I’m going to be wearing 2” block heels for the ceremony and reception but have the same concern for getting photos outside. We’re late November in PA, so it could go either way in terms of weather.
I was concerned and just measured the heel on my favorite pair of boots... almost 2 inches! They’re brown cowboy boots but they're comfy and warm. I’m gonna pack them if it’s cold, just to wear outside.
