My wedding is in October and I bought my dress in December (when I got engaged)/January. And I fell in love with my dress. If I could sleep in this dress, I would. The dress was a sample, so it was too big for me and she's in the process of being altered (by my mom, who's a talented seamstress). The dress had to be hemmed from the bottom significantly, even when I was wearing heels. So the option of me wearing flats to the wedding is not really preferred and I want to wear heels to fulfill my princess fantasy.
So my question is, how can I make the heels that I'm wearing to the wedding as comfortable as possible? I wore the heels in question for about 2 hours on foot and my feet were beet red. They're black platforms that looks just like these: (https://www.target.com/p/women-s-gabriella-mid-heel-platform-pumps-a-new-day-153-black/-/A-54180264?preselect=54004696#lnk=sametab). I have these gel pads attached to the bottom but do you have any other suggestions to make this easier? And because they're blocky, they tend to make a lot of noise when I walk..
Thank you!
