Wedding Shoe Suggestions

Lindy, on December 15, 2020 at 5:00 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 16

I need shoe suggestions!! I want to be as comfy as possible, but also have a little height in my shoes since I am so short. They need to be easy to walk in but not flats!

Go for chunky heels, not stilettos or wedges. Try them on in person first at Burlington, Macy's, Dillards, DSW type places. Or see what is available at a local bridal shop to try on and buy them cheaper at Zappos.com

I got my heels from DSW! They have a certain brand, that is called something comfortable heel. Anyways, they are like 3inch heels and super super comfy! I recommend trying there!

I have 2 pairs because I want one stilletto heels, but also have an espadrille for the beach ceremony. I never had espadrilles before, but I must say they are so much more comfortable than any high heels I ever had. It’s super soft and I know now why people are wearing them. I am just not a fan from how it looks like, but hey, it’s inside the gown 😉

I just bought mine from davids today(they havd buy one get one half off). I wanted a heel but under 2 to make sure I can walk and stuff plus my dress.. Macys, Dillards or Dsw highly recommend. Dsw has deals right now. Go for under 3 inch. Betsy Johnson or Nina is a good brand.

You could always wear heels and keep flats to change into when not taking pics.

I did a block heel because I have such weak ankles and they gave me the most support. I found mine at David's Bridal but DSW had some great options.

I also recommend a block heel! You can find them on several sites, and can get them in varying heel heights. My pair is from Old Navy!

Like everyone else, I recommend a chunky heel with plenty of padding on the inside. (That's the real reason high heels are often uncomfortable: not enough padding in the foot bed.) It also helps if the shoes have straps; you won't have to worry about your feet slipping out of the shoe when you walk. These are my ceremony shoes (they're super comfortable): https://smile.amazon.com/DailyShoes-Womens-Chunky-Classic-Closure/dp/B07C279Z8T/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8&th=1

Also, platform sneakers are a thing. I'm changing into a pair for my reception. They're the same height as my heels, but with the comfort of sneakers. They're not the most elegant shoes, but my dress is floor length, so the shoes won't be visible anyway.
