Wedding Sendoff

I've never seen it done, but there's no rule saying you can't!

I would pick one or the other. Personally I have seen the post ceremony send off only in the movies because there is no reception, which you can't skip out on in real life. I have seen bubbles post-reception and those are nice. You will likely confuse guests because so many people are used to seeing at the end of the reception only. But do what works for you. Make sure everything is clearly communicated.

I would stay away from confetti because you will be responsible for cleanup. It's harder to clean up than biodegradable rice/birdseed/roses so I'm surprised they have that option. .

I’ve been to one wedding that did both. They had flower cannons after the ceremony (like confetti cannons, except it shoots biodegradable flowers) and sparkler cannons for their grand exit at the end of the evening. Both were enjoyed by everyone, and they made for killer photos!

Also, as Michelle mentioned, make sure to check with your venue about whether you would be responsible for cleanup. A lot of venues offer clean up in their packages these days.

I've seen couples do it, and others who didn't do anything. You can do whatever you want! Sparklers are always so cute. Just be cautious and mindful of the cleanup.
