Wedding Send Off Help!!

Katie, on July 18, 2019 at 1:34 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 4
Ok, so my wedding is in October 2020 and my fiancé and I are trying to figure out how to leave our reception. We are having the reception at a hotel ballroom which is also where we will be staying our first night together.

How do we exit if we are not actually getting in a car and going anywhere?

Some people just do the exit as a way to get a good photo op aha but don't actually leave to go somewhere

I’ve seen a lot of people opt for ribbons for mess free send offs, you could also do glow sticks or bells/mini tambourines

You can still do the grand exit! You can either have guests "send" you off outside of the ballroom or the hotel, whichever you prefer. If you do the ballroom, you can just go straight up to your room. At the front of the hotel you can line up for the photo op, do the send off, and then go back up to your room. I've had friends who did a "send off" and then came back to the reception to talk to guests they didn't have the chance to before.

    Hey Katie!

You can totally still do your grand exit even if you aren’t getting into a car! Are you hoping to have your guests throw petals or confetti or have something that will light up?

This can be done when you are leaving your event room in your hotel as you are going up to your room.
