I’ve seen some people use silicone rings before they wear their main wedding band before their postponed wedding

I think that’s a cute reminder of all we’ve had to go thru in 2020. You can use it as a right hand ring or a travel ring or stack it with your current band.

Most days I’ve been wearing an inexpensive titanium band from Amazon since I’m in healthcare and have to use sanitizer or wash my hands infinite times a day (more now). I wear my real rings occasionally:

I think getting another ring could be a nice way to commemorate the full experience of the wedding. Depending on what your current ring is like, if you don't want to get a whole new one, you could have additional stones added to it, or have both dates engraved inside of it.


We're wearing silicone bands for now (jewelry stores were closed for a while here) and we'll get real ones later. I probably won't wear them together, but I might wear my current one when I'm cleaning or if I get pregnant and can't comfortably wear my other rings. My husband loves his silicone ring. He was planning to keep that one for cleaning/exercising, but now he might move it to his right hand and wear both.
