Wedding Ring Tattoos

I was thinking of maybe having FH's name or initials tattooed on my ring finger as a surprise but it is such a huge deal and very permanent so I'm thinking long and hard. I was always the type to say I would NEVER have anyone's name tattooed on my body not even my own. But I'm so in love with this...

I was always the type to say I would NEVER have anyone's name tattooed on my body not even my own. But I'm so in love with this man I'm actually considering it. Would or have any of you ladies had it done?

    Lovely Unique - that is great if you got them on your palm and have had no problems I am just talking about ones I have seen on the fingers. Not a lot of pigmentation on our palms so maybe that is why they stay better!

    I was thinking of gettin our dated tatted on the ring finger...but i guess I wont be, after this!

    Names or even initials can be a bad idea. I had my ex's name on my shoulder, way back when I was 20, had it covered up the day we got divorced. Now the only name tat I have is of my kids.

    Okay honest you have to have a very good pain tolerance to get a hand tat... I love tattoes and really am not bothered by the pain but the one on my foot after they got done and the nerves started un-numbing hurt.. I went with my sister to get her finger done, the same one in my pic that got her foot done and she screamed. She has twenty tats and she screamed... No finger tats for me.

    Oh and not to mention that like feet even if the design is simple your going to pay a pretty penny because of the area... Only certain shops will do feet, wrists, and fingers.

    I think it's a great idea. Just be careful. Tattoos on the hand are hard to keep looking nice if you are someone who works with their hands.
