Wedding ring suggestions

I need wedding band ideas that will go with my gorgeous engagement ring. The band is thicker in the middle where the center stone is, so a traditional band doesn’t sit flush. I don’t want a band with a curve in it. Does anyone have a similar ring style with a wedding band style that goes with it?

From the pic it looks like the prong sits low which is kind of hard to find a band to sit flush under. Have you seen tapered wedding bands? I’m also biased about ring guards/enhancers.

Haha I'm the opposite from Aimee! I have an engagement ring that's a double frame halo, so bands weren't going to dot flush against it, and I also wasn't a huge fan of the bands. I ended up picking an enhancer as my wedding band because I got one thsy kind of cupped the halo, making it clearly an extra ring and adding some subtle shine. I would look at enhancers just to give them a chance - I didn't think I would like them either until I found one they was less sparkle and more subtle.

Your ring is gorgeous! I have a similar shape to yours, and I really wanted a straight band, but ultimately I chose to get a custom band that curved with my ring. I read wear and tear could happen on the edges of the ring if I have a straight band, so I opted for something that looked like it belonged with my ering that my FH designed.

It’s square curved and the jeweler told me it looks “fashionable” enough to wear alone since I did want a straight band. Wedding ring suggestions 3

So I can't wear the whole set right now because my engagement ring is too big and the enhancer is too small, and you can see from the photos they don't all sit flush. When I get them resized in January - so I can have my ring for the holidays - they crowns should sit flush on either side of the halo. He showed me the idea on the store version of my ring that was the same size as my engagement ring.

And my ring by itself for comparison.

This is so beautiful! Your center stone works perfectly with that enhancer!

Thank you! I like yours too! It took months to find mine. My e ring’s band is knife edge so nothing would sit flush. I was either going with something custom but then found this enhancer and splurged! lol 😂

Oh yeah, that would be a problem if it were knife edge. My problem was that mine sat flush against my finger so I couldn't even get the option of a straight band. To me my biggest worry was that if I got a straight band that with the rocking back and forth against my e-ring it would eventually wear down the edges. Your ring absolutely works with the enhancer, looks like it was meant to be! Are you soldering them or not?

First world problems, right? Smiley xd

My ring with the elevated halo was hiding the bands, even the ones with a curve. He started saying I could just put two bands, then cut us a break and actually sold us a cheaper enhancer lol. I'm going to get them soldered when I send everything in to be resized, and my FH already said I could wear them all because I will want them soldered and won't want to lose them after the wedding.

Definitely look for a ring that is curved. My ring is oddly shaped in the center. One option was a $2,500 custom ring and my FH decided that just wasn't possible so we found a different option. Go to a LOT of jewelry stores. They all have different opinions and options. We did that but then ended up buying online - so we'll see if it works next week when it comes.
