Wedding registry

I am having a small wedding as well, and my fiancé and I are extremely financially stable so we weren’t expecting to make one. People kept asking so I just put a few kitchen items that are low priced . Things I would likely use a lot or things to refresh . For example new measuring bowls lol or new wine glasses very affordable. People are traveling to NYC for my wedding so I didn’t want them to have to worry about the registry but again many asked so I though items $100- $50 below we decent enough for the registry. We literally don’t need money so I didn’t do a honey fund some people do that!

We are vacationing with my daughters this year in New York from Ohio! Never been so we’re exciting!

If you do have a shower, don't invite anyone who is not also invited to the wedding. But you certainly don't have to have a shower or a registry! I like showers because it gives your family and friends a chance to chat and celebrate you in a relaxed setting. It doesn't have to be all about the gifts - I didn't open my gifts at my shower.
For the registry, I tried to think about useful things like storage, travel accessories, and outdoor stuff. We love to go camping so I registered for a cast iron dutch oven we've been wanting. You could also register for lawn chairs, ice chest, etc. Just some ideas.

I didn't register for much but listed towels, sheets, planters, silverware, kitchen towels, oven mitts, salad bowl, baking dishes. Things that could use a refresh.
