Wedding Registry

Hollie, on November 25, 2017 at 7:53 AM Posted in Planning 0 11

Where has everyone registered? My FH and I have an appointment in a few weeks to create our registry at Bed, Bath & Beyond. We were thinking one more place and wanted to do something like Dick's Sporting Goods but I don't think they do wedding registries. Idk I haven't heard back yet. Curious what everyone else is doing...

Dicks sporting goods sounds like an odd place to have a registry, I really doubt they offer one. Why not look for the things you want from Dicks on Amazon and create a registry there?

We were trying to think of somewhere that would be more up his alley than BBB. Lol we know another couple that registered at a store for her and a store for him. (I think they picked Lowe's.) I always thought that was cool and brought it up. We're big into sports and tailgating. We like the outdoors. We thought it would be a cool place to register!

I think Lowe's makes a little more sense though just because people are typically looking to purchase things for the home. Go with whatever you like, of course, but definitely look into whether or not they even offer a registry at dicks.

REI does registries, we registered there for backpacking stuff.

Is he not going to use plates, sheets, or towels? Because BBB is a store for him too.

BBB and Amazon. A lot of our guests from out of town really liked the Amazon registry. Many people are prime members now we made sure that everything was on the registry was prime, so that 80 pound smoker that we got was free to send. Amazon might be a good choice if you want to add outdoorsy type items, as you can add anything from Amazon onto your registry.

Alforev - True. We have thought about doing Lowe's too.

Fallinthegarden - thanks for the suggestion! Of course he will use the dishes and towels too. We live together already and have some things.
