Thanks Alyssachu! What type of wedding are you having if you don't mind me asking?

My only suggestion might be to break up the speeches/dances a little bit. Right now you have the toasts, and all 3 dances back to back to back, that might be a lot.

We did our first dance right after we were introduced at the start of our reception. We had toasts occur during dinner (sounds like yours is a buffet, ours was plated, so we did it in between salad and entree) - maybe your toasts could go after everyone is seated with dinner, followed by the parent dances, and open dancing.

Are you doing a first look? If not, 45 min seems a little short for all of the photos. Otherwise, I think this looks great! Smiley smile

As of right now you have 35 minutes from the time guests are asked to sit down and dinner. I would shorten this to 20 mins max. Five-ten mins for seating, five mins for introductions, and five mins for blessing. It goes a lot faster than you think. Nothing is more awkward then to be sitting there after intros and the blessing and having to sit another 15 mins before you can eat.

@emilys, no we aren't doing one. I've never like the idea of it. So we decided to skip it

@cj no, we aren't. But photos would be from 3:35 to 4:40.

Are you doing all of your photos in that hour time slot? Will you be doing most of the bridal party pictures beforehand? Our photographer recommended 45 mins just for DH and I's photos, another 45 mins for bridal party, and another 45 mins for family.

We will be doing most of the other photos before hand. The only photos we are doing at the church is family photos and the ones of my fiancé and I.
