Wedding reception dinner menu

Chloe, on February 18, 2019 at 8:39 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10
Not sure what I should do!
I am having a seated dinner and not giving the option to select dinner entree (we are doing filet mignon for everyone) on our RSVP cards. I also know already who my vegetarians are, so they will be getting a different dinner.
Should I supply each table with a dinner menu?

    I probably wouldn't, personally I wouldn't find it necessary.

If someone choices not to eat the steak can they get veg option.

You don’t need a menu I would still keep option of vegetarian open. I know or FG sister is now lactose. Since your wedding is a bit away I would not take out vegetarian options. Things may change.

I would definitely give the option of chicken or beef. Some people don't eat beef or even if they do they may nit eat a lot of red meat and may prefer the chicken instead.

I would give an option if it’s possible. Is your vegetarian option a pasta? Not everyone likes beef. I know giving the beef or chicken option will add costs so that’s probably not something you would want. Could you give beef or vegetarian option though? To answer your actual question though, the menu is up to you I would think. If they have the option between vegetarian and beef I would do a menu or if it just adds to your look. I am thinking about printing menus instead of doing chargers to save some money and it still look nice.

I’m not a vegetarian but I also don’t eat red meat .. so when you say you already know who your vegetarians are, do you also know who your non-beef eaters are ?

I personally don't think you need a menu! I went to a wedding like that and they served our plates with the filet mignon mashed and veggies on it. people pretty much know plated meals come with accompaniments.

If you're just having the one item on the menu I wouldn't bother with having a menu. Save your money and spend it on something else.

It doesn't seem necessary since you are serving the exact same meal to everyone (vegetarians excepted). Save that money to spend on something else.

Just wanted to update! We are doing a dual entree now! I want all my guests happy! But with that being said... are dinner menus necessary? Our wedding is black tie optional.
