Especially if you're on a budget, less is more. Simple candles always set a romantic mood and don't cost a lot. You could use lanterns too, and the best part with those or glass bottles is they don't all have to match to go together. For something unique to the two of you, pick up cheap frames and place pictures of the two of you on each table. What are your colors? Do you have a theme?

No theme at the moment! The colors are iris (lavender) and forest green! It will be snippets of gold here and there; however, the flowers will be lavender and green. That sounds so much better than placing a centerpiece on 20 different tables! That just really relieved my mind completely.

What type of decorations are a must at the reception? If you can’t tell, I’m planning it myself! I fired my planner lol.

I think it really depends on your venue. Some venues will even have decorations to use that you can simply add to. We aren't doing much for decorations other than our ceremony site and centerpieces because we really don't need it for our mostly outdoor venue. The indoor spaces are already beautifully decorated and we're running with it. Do you have your venue booked?

Plenty of brides and grooms here have all kinds of ideas. Here are some inspiration pics for you.

The arrangement in the first photo I posted will have two wood candles with a heart cut out as well as an antler on 5 tables and the second photo is the set up for the other 5 tables. Everything is half off from Hobby Lobby! We will be adding a bow to the base and mason jar!

Thank you so much ladies! This information is very useful! I will look for pictures and details on this app as you all post, I know it will be beautiful! I am a preschool teacher so creating some centerpieces wouldn’t be too tough. I have plenty of art supplies. Thank you again ladies!!

These are our flowerless centerpieces; for 10 tables we spent $200 on all of them.

Our colors are purple and green as well. Our theme is beach. We went to a food truck event this weekend and a vendor was selling gel candles and I fell in love with them for our centerpieces. We decided the bridesmaids and myself are going to make them. I googled this to get an idea of some.

We went with simple greenery in vases and votives! We sprinkled petals throughout the candles and it came out really pretty!! The greenery was all extra from what I ordered for our bouquets (diy florals), the votives were found used by one bride previously and still in good condition for $20, and the petals were excess too!!

To me less is more. I purchased my vase for my flowers from Michaels crafts, My fresh flowers came from a local farm and I also bought tea light candles with holders from Michaels Crafts. Everything was affordable and looked wonderful!

We are doing a Breakfast at Tiffany's Theme. 6 of the table will have boxes wrapped in Tiffany blue paper and a white ribbon, with feathers and pearls. Its very cost efficient.
