Wedding Programs- English/Spanish

Juanita , on March 3, 2017 at 3:01 PM Posted in Planning 0 7

Ladies- so about 90% of my wedding guests speak Spanish because both FH and I are Mexican but, at the ceremony there will be attendees present that speak English only. With that being said; should I make bilingual programs or should I make 2 different sets- 1 English and 1 Spanish. Also how many programs do you think I should make? We're having about 200 guests at the reception.

I think I would make them bilingual. The number of programs really is based on how your guest list is i.e. how many couples/families. I guess to be safe you'll need 200.

I vote Spanish on 1 side, English on the other in the same program. That way people can follow along even if they don't understand.

When my great uncle passed, his 3 hour funeral mass was entirely in Slovak. Thank God they had dual language programs....

We made ours in Spanish & English. It's less complicated when you're handing them out.

Thank you for the input! I didn't know how many to print off because i figured people just threw away the programs anyway.

If your wedding will be in Spanish you should have bilingual programs. My wedding will be completely Spanish because I'm Mexican and He is Puerto Rican and all relatives and friend are bilingual. So it's nice to have both languages

We are doing English and German! Most of our guests will speak English, but there are a few that are only German speakers. We also did two different invitations... which ended up costing more, but at least we know everyone will feel comfortable. Smiley sad
