Wedding postponement

We are having a minimony and getting married in October. Our bigger wedding is in March

We planned a weekend getaway with a few friends for our original date! We purchased a mini cake (same flavors that our wedding cake will be) from our cake baker. I also put together a gift basket for my fiance, which had coffee mugs, wine glasses, wine, snacks, and a cake topper.


If you had to postpone your wedding, I definitely recommend doing something fun for your original date! Make it a happy memory. Go on a weekend getaway (either just you two or with friends), or do a date night in your town, or do a movie night in, or anything else that will make the day a positive one!

We postponed from October 10, 2020 to October 7, 2021. We are going to Lake Tahoe the weekend of our original wedding day! Lake Tahoe was liking going to be our honeymoon location if we were to get married this year. So now we get to go there anyway and have honeymoon elsewhere next year!

We postponed from November 2020 to November 2021. We plan to have a nice dinner by ourselves and order a small cake
