Wedding postponed 😭

As if 2020 hasn't been cursed enough, my parents have decided to seperate. I knew it was coming, but none the less changes everything. With the ongoing pandemic, wedding planning was put on hold and now will indefinitely be postponed while my family heals. We have postponed to September 2021 which is almost a whole year past our original date. I suppose more time to plan and save will be a plus. Just bummed. Anyone dealing with postponed weddings?

Not dealing with a postponed wedding, but my parents got divorced when I was an adult (25) and my brother and I didn't see it coming, and he was planning his own wedding. When my dad insisted on bringing his new girlfriend to the wedding...it was tense. So sorry you're going through this. I completely agree with your decision to postpone. And hey, they might have coronavirus more under control by then!

I'm so sorry to hear about your parents. That on top of wedding planning sounds so stressful and my heart is aching for you.
This is definitely a crazy stressful and uncertain time for everyone! However, it never hurts to be proactive about plan b!
You also aren't alone right now! ❤️
I'm so sorry you had to change your plans, but I'm so glad you've locked down a new date!!
Stay positive and hang in there!! You've bought yourself a lot more time and hopefully more peace of mind!
