I don’t really think anyone knows how things will be. There’s lots of talk about a 2nd wave but truly no one knows if that’ll even happen. My wedding is scheduled for December 12th and I’m planning as normal and hoping for the best😊

I invited 250 ppl and would hate to reduce my guest list. The invitations were in ppl hand when i was forced to postpone.

I’m sure not all 250 people will come anyway. But I would definitely ride it out and have a back up plan. There’s still months to go😊

Hopefully it will be much better than things are now. 🤞🏽 We are in October as well (but on the west). For us, everything was planned and booked by January so that there wouldn’t be anything left to do besides relax and enjoy the engagement this year. But this is not how we envisioned “relaxing”. If all else fails, we’ll still get married on our wedding date... then do the celebration we planned with guests in 2021. But it sucks because I want get the wedding done in October and move on with married life.

Yes things are definitely improving!! I just keep telling myself that we have months to go. My fiancé thinks I’m crazy for even 2nd guessing our wedding but it’s hard not to with everything going on. Best of luck and stay positive!!😊

Oh wow! 250 is a lot. I guess that’s another thing that makes me feel better. We’re only having a small wedding with 65 of our close family and friends and no bridesmaids or groomsmen. So it’s not as much to maneuver. However, we live in SoCali and the wedding is in Vegas. So that’s my main concerns. A huge part of me wants to just move forward with it regardless and whoever is willing to come shows up. If we only end up with 40 guests then that’s fine with me. We’ll still party and celebrate.

With all the progress in the last few weeks, I’m sure you’ll be able to host your wedding in the fall! Just maybe be prepared for there to be a possible 50-guest cap (or another limited capacity), and for some guests to still decline to attend. It’s uncertain times for everyone, but best of luck! ❤️

The venue hasnt said anything yet im just speculating. i study cuomos briefings he seems to be saying social distancing will be in effect until the virus is eradicated. ive heard different things from different people about possible precautions but its all hearsay! i asked my venue if they were considering any precautions and they said just plan as normal for now so who knows

The main differences is that there will probably still be measures of social distancing in place and large events may be restricted. I also read an article on the hospitality industry and how buffets may not be offered, so that’s something else to consider. 250 guests is a lot so that would be my primary concern.
