wedding plans cancelled

Lashell, on May 13, 2019 at 7:39 PM Posted in Planning 0 10
So my plans has changed I cancelled the original plans. We had a wedding planned for April 5 2020 in my hometown. Due to some life changes we decided that it more important to save for a home and adoptions. So we are now getting married May 28 2019 at a court house. I can admit I was hurt leaving all my deposits behind but we had a bigger picture. We will have a photographer that day along with a few people that will be there we will have a dinner and have a few days away. So excited we have gone and gotten our marriage license and rings. I'm so ready for this ladies and Gents. I will make my court house wedding just as special.

I'm sure this was such a hard decision but good on you for realizing it just wasn't the best choice for you now before you regretted it. And I agree, you are going to have an amazing court house wedding. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful pictures ❤️

Good for you! You are prioritizing and from what you write in your post you two took the better route and keeping it simple. It will be just as special of a day, if not more special! Bc you won’t have the high stress that goes with having a whole production of a wedding. I kind of wish I was going your route but it’s too late for me lol.

It it will be amazing! Good for you and good luck

Thanks YES very hard we had the biggest fight about it but I came around just that this is what I wanted we wasted $3,000 dollars before he realized I was right. He always do this instead of agreeing in the first place. Plus he said he will give me my money I spent back LOL can't be too sad I still get to marry the man of my dreams.

That's so exciting and you have to do what is right for you and your family. A wedding is just a day but a marriage is a lifetime. A friend of mine did the same as and did the court house a few weeks ago. It was beautiful and glad I got to witness it. FH and I are literally talking about canceling our February wedding and just eloping with our parents and siblings and bffs. We just want a house and to start our lives. 80% of my guest are coming from out of town and it would save them the hassle. We keep going back and forth on it. Ugh
