Wedding Plans 9.15.21

I'm one month before you on 8.15.21. I'm just being methodical and going down my list. How are you doing with yours?

Covid has always been top of mind and I would start and stop my planning because everything was iffy (and still is). I has been politely thinking of ways tell all my guests that they needed to be tested or have the vaccine before attending my wedding. But now that Cuomo is going to make testing mandatory for all wedding guests, I'm feeling better about everything!

My fiancé and I have committed to 8.15.21 come what may. No back up plan! I do have guest lists at varying sizes though. So if it drops back down to 50, I'm good. But if it's just me and him and a few witness, we're still tying that knot.

Where are you getting married? How many guests, ideally?

I am so down with you when you said, "committed...come what may". My fiancé and I share the same sentiments. As of now, our max is 200 and our venue will be at Terrace On The Park. Where would your venue be?

Yeah, me too, re: forums. I'm trucking a long with my plans so I don't tune in as much. But I try to keep my eye on what other NY brides are saying because we're in the same boat. And our NY mind-set is VERY different from many brides in other parts the country, especially related to COVID.

So my friend had her 40th at Terrace at the Park! It was really nice... lovely views and the food was good. I'm up in Westchester County (Peekskill, NY) at the Factoria with views of the Hudson River. I'm trying to keep my wedding to 75 people.

I'm working on gathering emails and everything else now to send e-save the date notices.
