So me and my fiancé just got engaged December 23 2019. We agreed to have a short engagement. We are thinking of having wedding in September. Is this a good month for a fall wedding?

Yes! We got engaged on November 19 and planned to have it next October. However we were going to book an all outside venue and they said September was the most perfect month to have it! So we are September 12!!

Congratulations on your engagement!! September is a fantastic month to get married especially for the fall colors and depending on where you live the weather will still be in the 70s at least. Good luck planning!

September is great! I would have liked to have a fall wedding (here in California the weather is still warm in the fall). Just keep in mind September is still part of “peak wedding season”. So just make sure to check out availability sooner than later.

I think it is! My grandparents, parents, sister, and cousin all got married within the first week of September. Can't go wrong!

Sounds good to me. However you should know September/October are the most popular months to get married and therefore many things may be booked up already less than a year in advance. I’d look into booking a venue ASAP and be flexible with maybe being willing to do late August or something if September is already fully booked!
