Wedding planner/ companies that work with renting out private residences?

Hello! I'm very early in the planning process. We've been talking about venues and I think I want to rent out a residence for the ceremony and reception rather than go to a hotel or event space. I'm thinking something waterfront near St. Petersburg, FL, a large house or villa would work. Has anyone come across this where the planner/ company works with renting out residences?

    My wedding planner works with property management companies to rent out homes for wedding events. I’m in California but I’m sure full service wedding planners in other states do the same.

    There are a ton of wedding planners in the area listed on the WeddingWire vendor directory - Saint Petersburg Wedding Planners. I would advise starting your search by reaching out to them and seeing if this is something they provide.

    That is a very cool idea! The venue I will be booking is in Fort Pierce and is somewhat like that, but it is not a full rental property.

    I looked up local wedding venues near me and ended up finding and visiting Bellewood Plantation which is gorgeous. And sleeps 12 but you could fit more on air mattresses (the bedrooms are HUGE). I’m booking at the The Lake House, Fort Pierce cause it’s a bit cheaper but they are both owned by the same family.

    I’m originally from NY, and that’s is where all my family is coming from to my wedding.


    If you want to stay near St. Pete I can ask a few people that I know who live there.

    Wedding planner/ companies that work with renting out private residences? 1 Here is another. I couldn’t find a website but Wedding Wire has a good description and photos.

    Ok, I’ll stop being a wedding planner now. I just love helping people plan! :-)
