Wedding Plan

Hi! For me i chose the venue first and once I had a date I started booking my florist, make up artist, hair Stylist, and photographer because I wanted to make sure they were available for my date. I following the wedding wire checklist to a T. I hope this helps.

1. Figure out what kind of wedding you want
2. Start looking into finances and see what your budget is
3. Find a venue
4. Pick a date (this can go hand in hand on the venue depending upon availability)
And just like what Safiya said use the wedding wire checklist. That's what I used and what helped me plan my wedding to stay on track

My biggest tips:
-Have an open mindset (prepare to make changes to almost everything. For example, I wanted real flowers, but considering how much they cost I only did real flowers for my bouquet and my husband's boutonniere which was totally fine because the fake flowers I got were still amazing!)
-Stick to your budget as best as you can because EVERYTHING does start to add up
-Always communicate effectively with parents, bridesmaids, FH, and possibly wedding planner (if you are hiring one)
-Keep in mind that a lot of people are having weddings in 2022 and 2023 so a lot of venues and vendors will be booking up so book accordingly and as soon as you can
-Have a wedding day of coordinator (helps you enjoy your day stress free so they will take care of everything)
