My photographer said nations photo lab and mpix are the cheapest for good quality prints. She told me to avoid Walgreens/Walmart type places. I did nations and the pictures were amazing.

Thank you for this! My shoot is in a few weeks and I was wondering where I should have them printed. Somehow, my neighborhood CVS didn’t seem like the place!

Those quick photo labs can’t print in the same high quality. I ordered some from Walgreens at first and the difference between those and the nations photo lab ones were astounding. The colors were completely different.

I had no issues printing my engagement photos at Walgreens and they looked great. I printed my boudoir photos at mybridalpix.com

I found this picture to show the comparison. On the left is the picture from Walgreens. See how shiny and oversatured and orangish everything looks? The one in the frame was from nations.

Shutterfly is doing free 4×6 pictures, up to 250, and you pay for shipping. I just paid 10 bucks and got them in a week. You have to use the app.

I have heard shutterfly is good. I probably wouldn't use walgreens or cvs for such important photos myself. I wouldn't trust the quality. Maybe for just the boudoir photos. You can always test it out with those and see if you are fine with the quality and go from there!

What’s nation photo lab? Is it a US only printing service?

If you are on a budget and if what you want is an album where you can look at your photos, then I'd do Walgreens/CVS. I just did a whole wedding album with them & I love it. Now, is it top of the line artistry? Nope. But it's met my needs (which I considered basic. I wanted an book that had a our wedding photos that I could customize.)

I got to chose how my photos were laid out, the different backgrounds & I got to put captions on the pages.
