    This varies widely depending on where you are from. I'd say a good and experienced photographer is usually $2,000 and up. You'll see some brides on here spending up to $5-6k for their photographer. But on the other hand, some spend less than $2k and still get great pictures but that is hard to find. Mine is about $2500.

    This varies on experience, your location, and so many more factors.

    I live in NYC and I am using a photographer who is based out of So. Florida/Bahamas. He travels to NYC often. I'm paying $3675 for full day coverage (10+ hours), 2 shooters and an assistant, unlimited photos, custom USB drive w/ images, a 20x30 metal print, ten 8x10 photos, a 12x12 20 page flush mount album, a gift parent album, hi res digitals and an e-shoot.

    @GymRat - That's a pretty good deal.

    I'm looking at paying $3000 for engagement sessions, 10 hrs coverage on the day of with 2 shooters, unlimited photos, custom USB drive w/ images and hi res digitals

    Fiance doesn't like it but too bad lol

    Well it depends on locations. Ours is around 5k while some people in other places it's less while others it is more.

    @VC @Devon - hell yea. Well remember, he's considered out of state. He said he'd waive the travel fee for us. His name is Stanley Babbs of Stanlo Photography. I found him through a search of #nycweddingphotographer on Instagram. His bio said "Florida, Bahamas & NYC". I think he said he has family here. He was just up here twice last month for an e-shoot for someone else and a magazine shoot.

    This SAME package would have cost me over $5k for a photographer who actually lives/works here full-time. I researched damn near 50 photographers - I was mentally exhausted.

    It definitely depends on where you are located. Just keep in mind you get what you pay for.
