Wedding photographer not responding

Its been over 2 weeks and my photographer hasn't addressed my questions from emails but will send Facebook messages. The kicker was yesterday when she wanted to know if she could send photos to the venue who wanted some. I said yes but my hubby and I want to approve the photos first. No response back. I brought up the other questions I had, is there a photo of us with my brother, what are the cover choices for the albums, and nothing. She read my message but no response. Hubby thinks she's avoiding the brother photo concerns because she doesn't have one. I hate inconsistency and poor communication. We picked out photos for the album but we won't get the digital files until the albums are ready. Another thing I'm stressing over. My health isn't the greatest right now and the lack of communication is making me worse. How else can I get her to answer me?

Edit: just as I posted this she responded to me that she already sent the venue photos and for the umpteenth time avoided answering the other questions.

Yes we did. From our collection preview we have some with just his brother and us, but not vice versa with mine, or even just me and him. I just want an answer you know.

I'd be likely to show up at her office unannounced, but that's just me.

I would wait until after the new year comes in and show up at her place of business. I have conducting business via phone or email. Peoe are often misunderstood that way.

Well it's freaking Christmas right now and a lot of people travel and have a ton going on. If her contract didn't say she would have stuff to you by now, give the girl a few days to enjoy time with her family and friends.

She knows you want her attention, she's reading your messages, she's responding to some of your questions. Probably the ones she knows off the top of her head and doesn't have to go look up before answering. She will get back to you with the rest after the holidays.

I assure you, she's not withholding your photos because of jealousy over you having a brother and she doesn't. Cannot shake my head enough at that crap.

I think she meant avoiding the question because she doesn't have the photo not because she doesn't have a brother and is jealous....unless I missed a comment somewhere.

So she asked you about sending photos to the venue, you said yes with the condition that you approve them first. She then turns around and sends them off to the venue without getting your approval? She either intentionally didn't bother getting your approval on them and sent them anyway OR she'd already sent them before she'd asked you. She's not only ignoring your questions but has time to ask a favor. I say it's BS that she's busy enjoying the holiday and can't answer OP's questions.

I would wait until after the holiday weekend and try calling or stopping by if that’s possible. Does it say anywhere in your contract how long it will take to get your pictures back? If Facebook is the only way she is responding can you send her a fb message that addresses your concerns?

”hello *name*,
i want to make sure you are receiving my emails. I sent you several addressing some concerns and needs about my pictures and I haven’t heard anything from you yet. Can you please let me know?
Thabks,”

You don’t know that the emails didn’t go to her spam (unlikely but it does happen).

Pick up the phone and call her. She can't avoid answering your questions on the phone.
