Wedding Pet Peeves?

Deciding on the guest list! (We're still in the beginning stages, so I haven't done too many other things yet). Most of it is easy, but there's those few guests that I really don't want to invite, but they are family so I feel as though I have to. My parents and FH are okay with us not inviting them, but there's already so much drama around them that I'm scared they will start even more when they find out they're not invited. But I also feel like there's a good chance they'd cause a scene at our wedding, due to them not getting along with some of our other family.

So, nothing major, just my current "annoyance"

When people in your wedding party ask the same question time and time again.

When people can’t make it to the wedding, so they just don’t rsvp, and assume that you know that means they’re not coming.

The cost of it all! I just cant justify some of the quotes I'm receiving. From dance lessons to photography to make up pricing. It seems like once you say "wedding", the prices sky rocket!

My biggest pet peeve is the growing number of people who tell me that they're bring someone to my wedding without asking. I haven't even sent out the invitations yet...

My biggest pet peeve is people constantly asking about the wedding planning. Anything from "how's the planning going" to "you must be so busy planning." No, I'm not busy planning (for now, this changes frequently), and no, I don't want to spend every second talking about the wedding. I get that it's just one more thing that people can make conversation about besides the weather, but COME ON, if I see you regularly or even semi-regularly you do not need to be asking me this question

"Oh you have to......"

No I don't have to do anything. It drives me crazy. Make your recommendation in some other wording.

Not completely minr... but FH gets so annoyed with his mom when she says we need to do XYZ but won't bother offering to help pay for said thing. Also when she mentions limos lol

Biggest pet peeve is definitely the rsvp process, or the lack of said process. By that I mean ,we are in a super connected world,but, invited guests don't rsvp!!! And then you text or call and they won't respond.. So very, very annoying.

Two words that make my spine crawl... RUSTIC. CHIC. I want to slap everybody who says that now. I'm just not that kind of bride!

It's so hard because planning should be such a fun and exciting time between you and your mom but if you have completely opposite styles and your mom is trying to create the wedding she didn't have...it gets messy (thats my situation at least lol).

I hate trying to describe a theme at all! No one accepts that I like what I like, I know it all looks good together in my mind (and on pinterest) but I don't know what theme it is and I don't care!
