Wedding party vent-again lol

It’s been a while since I’ve posted about my wedding party selection-which I initially struggled with due to not wanting to upset or hurt anyone’s feelings. I have since made the decision (my fiancée and I both) to have maid of honors- it wasn’t easy because we love all of our friends equal but differently. However, some have stepped into more of a deserving role naturally and I feel it’s only right-aside from the fact we wanted maid of honors from the beginning. We have been pondering back and forth, me especially, and finally we decided to put together some cute bags to re propose to them and ask them to be our maid of honors. I am fully prepared to end up explaining myself to my other 2 girls, one who already addressed me at our engagement party (in a friendly but pushy tone-with some liquid courage to help assist 🤣) about being my MOH after I present them their cute proposal bags for being bridesmaids. The other not so much blinked twice at being a bridesmaid but I’m expecting her to silently feel disappointed that I selected a different MOH. Maybe I am being a negative Nancy or over thinking I just know these girls lol. this is really a vent session that I hope I’m wrong about. I want everyone to respect my decision and I plan to still make everyone feel as special as I can for them agreeing to be in our wedding in the first place!😊 my heart and gut led me to make an adjustment to my wedding party and I couldn’t be more excited! These two deserve to be MOH ♥️

Thanks for reading y’all😇🙂😁

Vent away! Sometimes, especially planning a wedding during a pandemic, we over analyze every single detail. Relax! Breath! It’s all going to be fine!

Hoping for your that it is just overthinking and it will be a simple nondrama MOH proposal. I'm an overthinker in life, so I know the struggle. The best anyone can do; is what brings them joy. You got this!

    I stressed about it too!

I actually talked to my Best Friend (who is the entire reason for the wedding as she introduced me and my FH) and straight up told her she wasn't going to be my MOH for the sole reason, I know her too well and know she's not organized enough/time oriented enough for all I need in a MOH, thankfully she agreed lol.

My cousin who I did ask to by my MOH was so nervous about it because she thought I would ask above best friend, but we're the Irish Twins of the family, she's born exactly 9 months after me (to the day) and we were raised as twins essentially since our moms are twins lol, it was a no brainer for me to have her as my MOH and I was ready to go to the grave with my pick if anyone questioned me on it.

You can make those who are not MOH , special by asking to give a short speech/toast ,maybe a "joint speech" with the MOHs, a reading during the cermony ( a reader has a more important role than the ones who only stand behind you lol) .
I think you are overthinking because most girls or guys are only hurt when they are not included. Your girls will be understanding that you can't pick 10 MOH lol.
