Wedding party meet and greet?

So, we are just under 9 months until the big "I do". All of my bridesmaids know each other. The groomsmen haven't met before and my BMs have not met most of the GM. Has anyone ever done a wedding party meet and Greet? If so, when should that take place?

We didn’t. I don’t think it’s that big of a deal that they know each other.
My friend did. But, that’s just her personality. It was nothing formal. She had a couple little get togethers, the first one being the engagement party. We played some silly games and she paired up one guy with one girl. Again, it’s her personality so it worked perfectly!
They also did a joint bachelor/bachelorette at the MOHs house. It was fun!

When we asked everyone to be in our wedding party we did it as a party with all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Some of them already knew one another and others did not. We had a great time and it was so nice to get everyone together!

We had a meet n greet with our wedding party in nov 2019 n our wedding is may 9 2020. Everyone got along n had fun, we met at a restaurant. Made everyone comfortable with each other
