Wedding party changes...

Two of my bridesmaids I no longer want to be in the wedding (it’s a long story). Has anyone ever took anyone out of their wedding party and how did you tell them?

No, but I've had it done to me. She told me and the friendship ended. We weren't that good of friends. She had like 12 bridesmaids. She just wanted us for photo props.

If you do this, be prepared for the friendship to end.

Literally the only things that could cause me to kick someone out of my bridal party would be if they caused me, my friends, or my family some kind of harm or if they tried to come onto my FW in some way. People are quick to toss their closest friends to the side when it comes to wedding planning. Like PP said, I would only do this if you’re okay with losing these friendships permanently.

My friend did that. She fired four bridesmaids and they're not friends anymore. I think she just asked them to step down and just be guests.

They said some pretty hurtful things about my fiancé and our relationship.

I would explain to them that their comments hurt you. If they don't apologize and still continue making rude remarks, I'd ask them if they'd rather attend as guests

I agree with PP but this especially. I feel that those who are standing with you on your big day should also be accepting of your relationship and this next big step in your life, because otherwise what is the point of them being up there with you, or honestly attending the wedding at all?
