Wedding party attire

Hi everyone, hope all is well! We haven't booked it yet but my FH and I are planning on getting married in a barn. So right now I'm trying to pick my colors. I have photos listed below: actual pictures of the venue and then what im thinking. Would all black attire for the groomsmen/groom and bridesmaids look good? I would still wear the traditional white dress. Were getting married outside so not in the barn, the reception will be held inside. If you have any of suggestions for the color theme I would be SO interested! Thank you Wedding party attire 1

I don't mind an everyone wearing black. However, it can sometimes come off slightly dark. Are you interested in the neutrality of black? Because I have seen some really gorgeous pictures of bridesmaids in neutrals. Maybe some sort of neutral can lighten it up, (maybe grey or taupe)?

I really like the all black look!

Some other bridal party dresses that would look great with black suits are: light grey, taupe, and beige!

I personally think an all black wedding is very dark and also formal. A barn seems a bit more casual and rustic to me. Some neutrals colors with black suits would lighten it up a bit. But obviously do whatever makes you happy.

Do whatever color you like, matches the season you're having your wedding in and think your bridal party will look in! I love weddings where everyone is wearing black, but I honestly think of a more formal wedding, not one at a barn. I like the neutrals idea!

I agree with others that said the black seems very formal for a wedding taking place in a barn which normally isn't very formal. There are so many different color options you could go with for a more rustic style wedding. It really depends on what you like.

I'll keep this in mind! I do like grey and neutrals idea. Im not really good at picturing something unless its infront of my face. So thank you for the help!

We're doing a barn wedding with black suits and burgundy bridesmaid dresses. I am only doing white tablecloths to lighten up the interior though. We're going for rustic/elegant so kind of trying to get that cozy barn feel with a bit of formality. I think you can do whatever you want to do!

We also got married in a barn!! The ceremony was outside but the reception was inside. We decided on casual, so jeans. But our colors were mauve and gray! Hope that helps you visualize some!

Hi! I love black but I think having both parties wearing the same color would blend too much and wouldn’t be ideal for photos. The bridal party and groomsmen would all blend together and it would be hard to differentiate people’s bodies when standing closely next to eachother.

I think black is a good idea but potentially too formal for a barn. I would incorporate another color to offset the parties for pictures. I am also doing a rustic/barn/outdoor ceremony and reception and we are using white/lavender/sage to keep it light and airy feeling.
