Wedding on Dad's Birthday

We made mention of the person who shared her birthday with our wedding. As long as he doesn't mind the attention, that's nice to include him that way.

Our wedding is on FH's aunt's birthday. We'll probably make a mention.

Besides, what better way for your father to celebrate a birthday than with all that joy?

Our reception was on my uncle's 75th birthday. We had the band sing Happy Birthday to him and we brought him out his own cake. It went over very well!

Halfway through reading the post I was like "aww they should make him a little birthday cake to have at the wedding" haha so CLEARLY I agree with you! If he's okay with the attention it would be super cute.

I share a birthday with my dad so trust me I'm a PRO at stealing birthdays. As long as they still get a happy birthday shoutout from you they tend to be cool with it

This happened to me too! I didn’t realize when we picked the date that it was my dads birthday and my sister pointed it out to me but he said he didn’t mind sharing his day with us 😉 I ordered him a single tier 4” cake in his favorite flavor to surprise him with. Haven’t decided if I want to display it on the wedding day (his actual birthday) or present it to him during the rehearsal dinner.
