Of course it's okay! It's your wedding you can have it on any day of the week you want!

Although they are not as popular as weekend events I perform several mid-week weddings every year. It's a great way to save money and no matter what day you get married on the people that are most important in your life will make the time to be there.

I think this is fine and most likely things like your venue will cost less, but you might find that you dont have as many guests because of this. I think I remember seeing that you were keeping things small at one point so this might not be much of a problem.

You can have it on whatever day of the week you want! It all depends on how important it is to you to have people there. It a lot less likely that people will be able to take off work and possibly travel to your wedding when it's on a weekday (esp. in the middle of the week). I think people tend to schedule weddings so that it's easier for guests to get there. But it's your wedding! Have it whenever you want!

I knew someone whose wedding was on a Monday actually and she had an AWESOME turnout! It saved her a lot of money as well, and the venue gave her a lot of perks since they weren't busy during the week. As long as you give your guests plenty of notice (so they can take a day off, or make travel arrangements), I think it should be fine.

Take it from a bride whose wedding is on a Tuesday...you'll be fine..lol. I got great DISCOUNTS from all of my vendors. They were all excited because its like extra money. You can only have so many Saturday weddings in a month. The rest of the days are open...but no one gets married mid week. Most vendors love to jump at the chance to get an "odd" wedding. My vendors have been super helpful. I think all of the owners are going to be doing it hands-on themselves that day. Which I think is a bonus. No dis to the assistants- but knowing the owner him/herself will be shooting your video, or arranging your flowers, or cooking live in front of your guests is such a plus!

As far as guests go, can you believe it but we had to turn away a lot of extras! All of our tables are confirmed & full-- no empties anywhere. Everyone that loves you & wants to be there will go out of their way--trust me. (I have west to east coast fliers to!)

Make sure to send out those S.T.D's 9mo-1yr ahead!

Weekday weddings are great! We got married in a Tuesday and all the kids were in school! By the time they got home, we were home as well waiting for them....and then we all went out for dinner.

I was just in a wedding a couple weeks ago that was on a Wednesday. It was Earth Day so the bride tied it in to that. It was great! If its the day you want you should have it then, don't plan your wedding around other people. Who cares what they think anyway?
