Millions of people get married without involving a church or religious wording so it's pretty common and nothing to worry about.

I used the vendor tab on here. We wanted a secular ceremony. The person we hired is an ordained minister but also has multiple options for secular ceremonies. Worked out great and she's really nice. Give the vendor tool on here a shot!

I know a lot of pastors so they just did it for me but I think I also would have just gone on the vendors tab here or check our thumbtack. Or some of my friends are ordained aha so could have asked them too - if you want, sometimes people have their close friends officiate

We had his uncle get ordained online to perform the ceremony. You have to check to make sure it's legal in your state, but in my state, most of the weddings I have gone to have had a close friend or relative officiate.

We found someone on the knot! She’s non denominational but will make the ceremony as religious or not as we want. We are both catholic but not getting married in the church as we too are not church goers so that didn’t feel right to us.

We ended up asking a long time friend to go online and get licensed to marry us and we are so happy we did. It was so special.

We chose a family friend! Maybe see about someone close to you all that could could get ordained to do it?

Then just do an online counseling class! 😊

A very dear friend of ours is a legal officiant, and he's married more than one of our couple friends. He gladly married us.

I preferred to ask a friend, because it was so much easier to customize the ceremony... and so much more heartfelt. He was able to give a sermon of sorts, that reflected a deep knowledge of us.

(And DH wanted to get married in the church, which... didn't work out... to my relief... and there's no way the priest would have been able to know me that well.)
