Wedding nightmares

Halle, on October 4, 2019 at 9:35 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 6
Hi guys !!
Im wondering with all the people out there who have had their wedding day how many wedding nightmares did you have ?? I have had so many lately my wedding is 50 days away and I have had nightmares from me and FH breaking up to wedding day tragedy’s . I’m just trying to see is this normal or is this something to worry about . So far in my planning I have had to make a lot of hard decisions and sacrifices . Things haven’t been going the way I wanted so I’m wondering if it’s a sign that things will get worse. 😪 what do you guys think?

I haven't had any yet, but I definitely think it's normal. Stress can come through in your dreams and this is definitely a stressful time. It's only a problem when people read too much into their dreams, like having a dream that your FH cheated on you and thinking that means it's actually happening. Dreams aren't a sign of anything, so try not to stress about it!

Omgosh I just had my first one but I'm 10 months out, I hope it doesn't continue. I do think it's normal also & a sign of your stress. I think you might consider some self-pampering & r&r. I read a suggestion that a month or so before the wedding when things start getting stressful you & FH should go on a date & not talk about the wedding at all. Good luck!

It's normal. I think wedding nightmares might coincide with things you're actually nervous about for instance if it's food related are you nervous the food or service of your reception?

I've had them too! I don't think they mean things will be bad. They seem to be related to things you've worried about the most. I'm sure everything will be okay though Smiley smile

I've had a few. They are the worst. I woke up one day freaking out that I didn't get my hair done and it's my wedding day. I had another where I went to my ceremony in my bra and petticoat because my dress didn't fit but I was determined to get married on that day. The stress of it all

I've had quite a few and we're still over a year out! I think it's totally normal and completely related to the stress of it all. Mine always seem to pop up when we're trying to make a decision about something. Like my last one was on our wedding day the caterer told us that the dinner would be $400 per plate instead of the $13 we were expecting.
